[Klein Soccer Club]: Spring 2010 – 1st Game

The 6U Tigers had their first game this past Saturday. The weather was perfect, sunny with a cool breeze. The league starts at 4U and play co-ed up to 6U. The teams play 3 on 3 at this level. The half size soccer fields sit side by side. When the blue team arrived, the coaches split up the players and started two games so there was less time waiting on the sidelines. They also do not keep score at this level. 🙂

We saw some really sweet kids and respectful coaches from both teams play with good sportsmanship and leadership. All of the players listened to their coaches. Thank you Coach Marcos for taking time out of your busy schedule of school, Klein Oak Panthers soccer, and work to coach your little sister’s team.

We can’t wait for the next game. Go Tigers!!

Enjoy the photo slideshow!

[Klein Soccer Club; Spring, TX] Spring 2010

Our 5 year old twins are starting soccer this spring with Klein Soccer Club!! Their first game is on Saturday at Meyer Park. We can’t wait to see Josh and Sadee out on the field!

Their first practice tonight may be rained out. So sad. 🙁 They are ready to run around in the freezing wet grass. Tough kids! We’re excited about meeting the coach, other parents, and players. I’m also wondering what their uniforms will look like. What about a team name?? Don’t think “Go Team A6!” sounds too exciting, but I promise to be cheering really loud. I’m sure the club will have everything ready in time for the first game of the season and the first game ever for the twins!

(You guessed it. Many photos to come…)

First game is a rain out! Sad kids, but a quick recovery when they found out we still get to go up to the field to meet the coach and pick up uniforms. Sadee is excited about going shopping afterward for shin guards and shoes. That’s my girl!
