Langham Creek YMCA Flag Football

We got a call from my good friend and fellow photographer Christie Lacy, owner of Christie Lacy Photography. Christie has photographed our children the last two years and she has done an AMAZING job! If you haven’t already, please take a look. CLICK TO SEE PHOTOS

Christie wanted action photos of her son Andre playing flag football for the Langham Creek YMCA. Of course we were more than happy return the favor. 🙂 The first two photos are Andre in action! He scored three touchdowns that day and led his team to a victory.

During the game we also captured many more great action moments from that day. To view and order photos, head over to the ordering website by clicking this LINK

What else is new? Cherry Family Photo Day

The Cherry family needs a photo of all five members in one frame.  Phil is Dad Cherry and co-worker of our family photographer.  He asks Sonny to meet him in front of the temple on Saturday afternoon.  Jana, Mom Cherry, and three Cherry kids will be in tow.  In order by birth, we have Mathew, aka Matty, Katie and Ally.  These kids are adorable so the photos were bound to turn out great!

I think Sonny enjoyed shooting a family portrait session.  Since kids are so full of energy, it was still a lot of action photography.  He used fun angles and tried to catch each person interacting like they usually are playing around on the weekend.  They just happen to be dressed up.  🙂  The colors are vibrant.  The detail draws you in for a closer look at the full scene.  The focus is always on the family while the background is a natural frame.

I laughed out loud while watching the slideshow for the first time.  Some of those action shots remind me of our three little busy-bodies.  I won’t tell my favorites yet so that you can be surprised as the photos roll across.  Do you think Sonny has a new calling as a family portrait photography?

Last Regular Season Game – Bengals vs Eagles 11-08-08

Last game of the regular season.  Where did that time go??  Even with the Ike delay, we can’t believe fall tackle football is wrapping up already.  GTP thanks all of our teams for a great season! We think your players and dancers gave a lot of heart on those fields.  They also gave us a lot of action to photograph.

Check out the newest photos from the Bengals and Eagles.  Highlight photos are below and here is your Plays of the Week. POTW-11.08.2008

Good luck to the Silver Wings and all of the girls performing in the Drill Team Competition this weekend!

We look forward to seeing you at flag football in the spring and at the baseball parks.
